"OWLELUJAH FOR DIVINE MUTATION! originally started out as a nice nod to the films & cultural identity of Hungarian actor & former Mr. Universe Mickey Hargitay. But due to his recent passing (9/14/2006), I now feel that this is our enthusiastic homage to an actor that some people have passed off as minor and/or corny, but was actually an endearingly fun presence in all the films he rollicked through, even if it was a glorified cameo (great example being WILL SUCCESS SPOIL ROCK HUNTER? (1957)). Highlights of Hargitay at the top of his game are BLOODY PIT OF HORROR (1965), DELIRIUM/DELIRIO CALDO (1972) & THE REINCARNATION OF ISABEL (1973), all three are engorged film experiences, available on DVD & worth your weight in dry ice and medallions."
