The Dark Romantics is the brainchild of Eric Collins (ex Denison Marrs, The Party People. With help from brother-in-law Dean Lorenz (also ex Denison Marrs, The Party People), Collins has combined what he loved and learned from both projects to create The Dark Romantics: a darker, sexier, groovier sound. The new sound has been likened to that of The Strokes and The Cure, but here you'll find just enough blues and twang mixed in (thanks to producer, Jason Martin of Starflyer 59), that you won't help but to get up--just to get down!
